Knowing your family. If you have elderly, children, or any special needs then that needs to be your first focus. It would be better to have 30min of magic versus meltdowns because we went somewhere too crazy for your family. Your own backyard, a farm, gorgeous state park, cool funky arcade, or modern building are all perfect options. I have suggestions all throughout Stillwater area so simply ask and I can likely give you a good suggestion on where we should head to capture your style. My all time favorite photos have been at the lake, downtown Stillwater, and at the fair in summer!

There is no magic number but 30 weeks seems to be a great time to photograph a pregnant woman in her fullness without her being too tired or swollen. Some women need to wait until 35 weeks or go sooner as they have multiple children and feel more comfortable. In the end when you are feeling fabulous and full that is a great time to book your maternity session.,

Absolutely! If your husband or surrogate or whatever combination of family wants to join you in these photos then I would be thrilled to pose you together. I will do some with you alone and some with you and the father as well.

Some women want to celebrate their femininity with as few clothes on as possible while others want to wear a big flow dress or a cute t-shirt. You will be treated with respect and we will only take photos that make you feel confident and comfortable. If stretch marks or new moles from pregnancy are a concern they can be edited out with your permission.

Yes I have classic props like little wooden chairs, quilts, and if we talk before hand and you let me know what outfits you are wearing I will often bring something along for us to use. You however should bring along anything special like big sister announcements, balloons, candy or whatever you would like to be photographed with for pics.

Yes! If you have a large family you may be better off booking a family session so that you can get your entire family photographed and I can know that we are focusing on the new baby coming but also wanting a lot of photos of your current kiddos. If you are booking a "bundled baby session" where your maternity is rolled into the price then you will save money by simply adding in additional family members to your session with a sprinkle fee of $50 per person.

Nope. But my prints are super quality, sized for you, retouched, and better quality than what you will likely order online or in store. You can ask me for a price sheet and we can always dream up amazing wall galleries, photo books, or custom graduation invitations or family Christmas cards.
