While spaces are limited, and sign up is done online, these are an easy way to get your family photos updated each year. Prices are reduced because we shoot for less time and things are simplified with a location choose by Ashleigh Rachel and a basic set amount of shots.

FAQ
How do I pay?
To secure your spot you must pay half down for your session. You will then pay the remainder of the session via check, cash, or Venmo.
How long does it take to get your photos back?
Up to 4 weeks during normal season. Up to 6 weeks during prime season September -November. In the meantime I will do my best to post sneak peaks on social media for you to see and enjoy!
How should I choose my location?
Knowing your family. If you have elderly, children, or any special needs then that needs to be your first focus. It would be better to have 30min of magic versus meltdowns because we went somewhere too crazy for your family. Your own backyard, a farm, gorgeous state park, cool funky arcade, or modern building are all perfect options. I have suggestions all throughout Stillwater area so simply ask and I can likely give you a good suggestion on where we should head to capture your style. My all time favorite photos have been at the lake, downtown Stillwater, and at the fair in summer!
What if I have to cancel last minute?
It's okay when your baby is sick but not when you just want to stay at the cabin a little longer! Unfortunately, 3 strikes and you are out. I have some repeat offenders and so this rule is a new one for 2020. I rearrange my families schedule, I prepare for your session, I don't book other families, and so my time is worth something. In the case of an emergency I do understand and you are welcome to book again but please be certain and considerate- I will do the same for you.
What if it rains?
If the weather is looking terrible we will cancel with a reasonable amount of time so you are not curling hair and then you have to do it all again another day. 3 hours is usually when I will call you or email and confirm if we are going to go for it or not. Cloudy days or cooler days are not reason enough to cancel as the photos will still turn out beautifully!
What if I feel super self conscious and hate photos?
My biggest tip is for mom or whomever to choose their outfit first. If you buy your outfit last and or you do not love what you are wearing it can make for a really hard session. To tight, to loose, to blah and you may regret what you wore. If you are worried about too much cleavage or truly any body insecurity then I ask for you to share that with me. I will do my best to make sure you feel beautiful and that we capture you in your best form. The best advice I can give is that bodies change one year you may be postpartum, another super fit, and another getting grays. Life is not suppose to be perfect and our bodies are not either. Embrace who you are and where you are at and you'll feel beautiful no matter how you look.
Do I have to order prints through you?
Nope. But my prints are super quality, sized for you, retouched, and better quality than what you will likely order online or in store. You can ask me for a price sheet and we can always dream up amazing wall galleries, photo books, or custom graduation invitations or family Christmas cards.
Why should I pick you?
Simply said 10 years of experience gives me a head above the rest. I can shoot twice as fast, know what most kids need to relax and enjoy the experience, I have countless dads who do not want to be there and end up saying, "that was actually fun- I would do this again." I do not have any hidden fees, you are paying all in one lump some for my time, my talent, upgraded gear, and expertise in case we need to do some major editing.
Will you bring props to our shoot?
Yes I have classic props like little wooden chairs, quilts, and if we talk before hand and you let me know what outfits you are wearing I will often bring something along for us to use. You however should bring along anything special like balloons, big sister announcements, bubbles, or toys your kids love and would like to be photographed with for pics.
What if I broke out and or my kids have scrapes and bruises?
No worries- that is included in my editing at no additional charge. However, body contouring is not included and would be billed hourly at $150 if you wanted drastic edits done.
What should I bring besides the obvious?
SNACKS! I repeat snacks and well fed kids. Wait to dress them fully until after they arrive as accidents can happen. If it's summer time a bottle of water in case we get hot, diapering items, any props you want for extra, lips that have chapstick, and a comb for any fly aways!
